Ingrown Toenails

An ingrown toenail is when the edge of the nail grows into the skin surrounding the nail. This can cause pain and inflammation. If left untreated, it can lead to an infection.

Treatment options:

  1. Remove the ingrown nail spicule with sterile instruments.
  2. Antibiotics if infected.
  3. Proper nail trimming technique.
  4. Nail brace is a non-invasive way to reshape the toenail.
  5. Nail surgery may be indicated for recurrent ingrown toenails.
